The POMERON is a hypothetical particle named in 1961 after the Russian physicist Isaak Pomeranchuk. Carrying no charge and thought to have spin 2, the dynamic pomeron is related to our understanding of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) and is currently thought of more as “pomeron behavior” than an actual particle candidate. It may actually be composed of glueballs.
Approximately 14 oz (397 gm); 7 inches (18 cm) across.
For ages 5 and up as it contains glued-on/small parts.
